Steinhauser has purchased and installed an MPS EF 530 flexo press. The new press marks the first MPS press for the fourth generation, Kentucky-based, woman-owned business. The installation of the new MPS EF 530 will be celebrated with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 15.

To meet quality requirements of existing and new potential customers in high-speed printing of premium labels and shrink sleeves, Steinhauser will replace older label printing equipment with the 12-color EF 530 press. The press was installed in January.

Press performance, demonstrations at the MPS Green Bay Demo & Applications Center, and a team approach to find the best solution for Steinhauser’s needs led to the decision for MPS. Tara Halpin, CEO and owner of Steinhauser, comments, “We are 100% pleased with support and service from MPS. Involved in the sale was Dilip Shah, Sr., technology and application support manager at MPS Systems North America. Steinhauser specializes in printing pressure sensitive labels and shrink sleeves in various materials, including papers, films, metallics, foils and more. Industries served by Steinhauser include health and beauty, household, food and beverage and animal health and nutrition.

The business is now 100% owned by Halpin, who fosters a special family-like business culture. “We care not only about our employees, but we also see our customers as part of our family,” says Halpin.
